The shoes

The shoes With our shoes, a large number of microorganisms are carried into the vehicle.
The scientists of the University of Utah have proven in a study That after a few weeks of using shoes, more than 400,000 germs will settle in the soles.
Around 70-90% of the pathogens from the sole of the shoe are transmitted on the carpet in the vehicle.
This can go so far that at some point everything from bags, backpacks to shopping is covered by them. This makes the path to absorption through mouth and nose much easier.

According to the microbiologist Prof. Dr. Charles Gerba from the University of Arizona, the composition of the germs is a problem in addition to their number.
The result of his study showed that these are mainly E. coli bacteria, i. e. faecal bacteria that cause a worldwide sensation due to E. coli scandals.

Prof. Kevin Garey of the University of Houston, Texas, can confirm this, stating in his study that 25% of all shoes were contaminated with the intestinal bacterium Clostridium difficile.
This can weaken the human immune system and cause intestinal diseases.
In the USA alone, about 30,000 people die of this germ every year.

How do germs get on the soles of my shoes?

Since it is difficult to get these pictures out of your head quickly.
Let’s stick to the facts. There are no limits to your imagination, what your shoes come into contact with during your excursions.
The soles have direct contact with dirt, faeces and debris on public roads, in gardens and parks. Where you have just gone for a walk, dogs, cats or rats may have crossed your path shortly before, may have taken refuge there or left footprints from the sewers and other biotopes for you.

Our recommendation is to have the vehicle disinfected by specialists at regular intervals with a fully virucidal and bactericidal and fungicidal disinfectant such as Carbioclean from BESTBIOCLEAN.
To keep the germ load in the vehicle permanently low.
